The Rules / What You Need

So what do you need to do to join and what are the rules?

To Join
Easy.... go to the website and register...
I need from you:
  • $30 payable before Round 5 - either cash or email me at porterl@rba.gov.au for my account details
  • Your 2 Grand Finalists and One Wooden Spooner before END OF ROUND 1 (see rules below)
The Rules
Same as every other year... pretty much.  Each week you tip the winners...
  • 1 point for a correct tip
  • 0 points for incorrect tip
  • You can't tip a draw - if there is a draw, everyone gets a point
  • Pick a margin each week for the first game (see 'What is different' below)
You can enter tips up until about 2 minutes before the start of each game.  Which means if you forget to enter your tips, or you think you entered them but they aren't in there... bad luck.  It is up to you to make sure they are saved correctly.  Miss picking yer tips and you the lowest minus 1.
Bonus Points - GF & WS:  You will need to give me your two Grand Finalists and One Wooden Spooner prior to the END of Round 1.  For each correct pick you receive 3 bonus points (max of nine points), and if a selection finishes in the opposite half of the ladder, you lose 2 points.  So please consider carefully...

We are still using the selected margin as a tie-breaker between positions at the end of the year - so DO think about the margin...

We are still using the bonus point for picking a full round correctly but will NOT be included in the Finals

Side Competition - The Longest Streak Comp
Same as last year - Tis called the Streak comp so do sign up for it.

Each week click on the 'streak' tab in your tipping, and choose between 0 and 9 teams that you think are dead certainties to win.  Every tip that is correct adds one to your streak.  If you get it wrong then your streak is over and it starts again.

At the end of the season the Top 3 will get some $ to be determined depending on numbers entered overall.

Prize Money
The prize money will be allocated depending on the number of tipsters. When I know the numbers I will give indicative values here.
