Even The Worlds Ugliest Man Can Be A Winner

You all know it was a farkin good game so there's not much to tell now, although Daaaaaaaaaave is still walking around telling us how bad the Pies were, how he could see it all, how they are useless.  But halfway through the second quarter he couldn't see how they could lose.  He picked the Pies and after every game this year the Cats were the luckiest team alive.  Lucky they weren't called Essendon.  Rumour has it that Dave is starring in the next series of The One.

So all that's left to tell you is who won what... and the winner was of course DrizaBone who scored an impressive 159 points - 6 bonus points courtesy of the Pies and Gold Coast.  In second was Once Great who leapfrogged Chris Judd's married hair courtesy of 6 BP's v 3 - ahh it could have been all so different if the Paps finished bottom and not the Goldies...  The astute will notice that bjak & judd finished equal third but bjak has more $$ owing - that is because bjak won money in the last side comp.

So for those owed money, please send me your details and I will zap you the money... well done to all - apologies for friggin OzTips but it was out of my hands obviously - next year I will find a different host for the comp.

Prize Money & The Grand Final in Sydney - The Alexandria

It's going to be a cracker of a game despite the rain.  Or maybe BECAUSE of it.  Personally I wouldn't be putting my money on either team but the Pies seem very good odds now given it's a 50/50.  The only questions left after a week of dissection seem to be will SJ play? Will DJ play?  Will Malthouse cry like the lil bitch he is?

In the meantime, the prize money has been determined... we had a total of 51 paying customers through the door this year which gives us $1530 total prize money.  $255 has gone to the side comp winners (101, The Chez, bjak), which leaves $1275 for distribution through the Top Ten.

OK, so D Swan won the Brownlow... but the real news of the day is that INXS have found another frontman!  You don't believe me?  http://www.inxs.com/ tells you all.  Apparently they have "felt magic".

My only question is...

WHEN WILL THEY DIE!!!  They are like the dude from halloween - they keep coming back with each incarnation worse than the previous.  Just be thankful they aren't doing the Granny this year.
